This picture was taken at the airport the next morning. While it was true that we did love Nice - and the rest of France - it was time to go home. It was sad to say goodbye to France, to our new friends, and especially to each other as Erin headed back to the east coast, and Joe and Linda to the west. As we said in the beginning, what a joy it was to share this trip together!
This experience has shown us that France is beautiful, rich in history and culture, full of wonderful people, and a delightful place to enjoy good food, good wine, and good friends. We won't wait another 18 years to come back.

Au Revoir
On our last evening together, we enjoyed a farewell dinner at Gaglio. The food and wine were very good, the lively conversation with our new friends even better.
