Nice
The first order of business after arriving in Nice was to take pictures of ourselves in front of the stunning blue Mediterranean. Then it was off to an orientation walk with Gregoire followed by lunch at a popular restaurant with a huge outdoor terrace. (The little mouse who ran under the table next to ours surely enjoyed its lunch there as much as we did).

Later in the day, we met on the hotel's rooftop bar for cocktails and this beautiful view of the city and the Mediterranean beyond.

Dinner was at Le Felix Faure where our waitress, an avid fan of Grey's Anatomy, was thrilled to learn that we were from Seattle where the show is set.

Breakfast at each hotel on this trip came with a variety of bread, cheese, meat, eggs, pastries, fruit, gourmet coffee, and more, but at the Hôtel La Scala, breakfast was especially elaborate.

Thousands of people lined the rocky beach. Erin made her way through the crowd for a quick dip.
